Waikato River Cruises
Discovery Cruises provide a day and overnight sailing in its luxury vessel, Manuwai Tuarua, on the lower Waikato River, passing through beautiful countryside and providing the guests with a special view of farms, horticulture and bush in their natural state, otherwise not accessible to the general public.

Oliver's Farmstay B&B
Oliver's Farmstay is an historic cottage that was once the original Post Office in the town of Temuka, built in 1876 and moved to its current site in 1904. The cottage has now been rebuilt and restored bringing it into the 21st Century while maintaining its "old world" comforts.

Kaitaki Kiwifruit Cottage is a modern self contained two bedroom cottage, with one Queen size bed, two single beds and outdoor bath. Located in the heart of an organic 8ha kiwifruit orchard and close to beaches and cafes, the cottage offers privacy, space and a peaceful environment.
Kaikoura getaway
Wake up to bird song including Tui, Bellbirds and the distant sound of the ocean. Whilst only a short distance from the scenic drive north to Kaikoura the Getaway is a private peaceful two story, three bedroom timber house (two queen and two single beds), built mainly from recycled materials with a casual 'honey' feel.

Woollen/spinning/fabrics
Rachel invites visitors to her property at Churton Park, a semi-rural suburb of Wellington City, to learn the craft of spinning woollen fleece into fine yarn, the craft of dying fabric into different colours, the felting of fleece into soft fabric and the making of woollen beanies and felt hats.
Old weaving techniques
Old weaving looms make beautiful fabrics: A chance encounter with a person who knew of three pedal powered heritage looms sent to NZ after WW II to help the rehabilitation of injured servicemen and which were gathering dust in a South Otago shed led to a new venture for a young South Otago couple.
