Ruffit Lodge

The private lake has abundant bird life to observe and you can kayak out onto the lake to retrieve the floating golf balls that someone has tried to hit into a floating hoop. You are welcome to take a walk around the farm or maybe have a go at shooting clay birds. Or, simply do nothing! There are excellent fishing rivers nearby and a fishing guide is available. Woodville also has some good art galleries and interesting second hand shops. Table tennis and darts are available in a woodshed. The owners are keen wetlands enthusiasts and members of Ducks Unlimited NZ. The cottage sleeps ten, queen bedroom, twin room and bunk room with a lounge and kitchen.
