Whareama Coastal Walk

Whareama Coastal Walk

Situated on the East Coast of the North Island, Whareama is lies between the popular beach resorts of Castlepoint and Riversdale Beach.  Walkers can complete a loop over two days, following well marked farm tracks, lane-ways or fencelines. Walkers progress at their own comfortable pace with a map and written directions (there's also a marker every 200m...... so you won't get lost!). We also offer a 2-Day/ 3-Night option where your final evening meal is at one of our local hostelry's,  the Tinui Cafe & Bar or Castlepoint Hotel, sampling the local 'fayre'!.
We also have self-catered walk options for groups of 2 - 8 persons, using our self-contained cottages each night.  We pride ourselves on being the Wairarapa's most versatile walking adventure provider!
Depending on your group size, you are accommodated overnight (with us) in our historic homestead B&B or clean, comfortable, self-contained cottages where delicious healthy, hearty meals await.
