Mairenui Rural Retreat is a three house farmstay complex nestled in the scenic hill country of the Rangitikei District, in the central North Island, offering a restful getaway for couples, families or other groups.

Mairenui is a working sheep and beef farm, with deer and horses and has been in the Sweet Family for over 100 years. Mairenui is committed to the environment and offers you a chance to share that commitment by planting a native tree. There are three accommodations options, two self contained houses and an in-house option with two double/twin rooms and ensuite bathrooms. French inspired cooking with genial hosts contributes to "The complete Rural Experience" that Mairenui's quests have loved.
