Jane McIntosh garden visit/art

Jane works from her studio in Culverden, North Canterbury. Jane and Tom's garden has developed over the last 20 years with the aim to make the most fabulous views of farmland, to rolling hills and onto the mountains behind Hanmer Springs.

Two large ponds and seperate garden areas have bird life and plant life that are subjects in many of Jane's paintings. The farm, her multiple dog and horse companions are also her source of painting material, which ends up on paper canvas using oils, watercolour and charcoal. Family and friends are in on it too.

Jane, along with two other garden and art lovers, will be holding a special "Art in the Garden" event early in 2021. e.
