The Cow Shed is a family run business set on a beautiful, 8 acre rural property, in a converted milking shed. The property is owned by Amy's parents who converted the Cow Shed and established The Restaurant in 2012.
The CowShed restaurant is currently closed and not taking bookings but their very tasty pies are still being sold in front of the Mangawhai Village Hall.

Head chef Sam has a passion for cooking and has been working in Melbourne restaurant and cafe scene for the past 10 years. Amy & Sam have decided it was time to head back to New Zealand with their family for a change of lifestyle and to follow their passion of embedding sustainable practices, gardening and sourcing high quality produce to serve delicious food.
