Organic farming

Traumatised by death and injury caused by a suicide bomber a young Israeli man set out on a search for treatment to heal his traumatic stress disorder.

He found it by getting close to nature and in organic farming according to permaculture principles. With a young woman who shared his interest in environmental studies they together traveled the world looking for a suitable place to settle. They found it in NZ where by chance they met Jeanette Fitzsimons, a past co-leader of the Green Partry, and her husband who agreed to their buying a half share in their own 250 ha organic farming property. Today its the young couple's own 'Garden of Eden' producing fruit and vegetables for sale locally.

Activities on offer:

- Getting back to nature
